Our goal is to help you build lifelong habits. We do this through helping you stay focused, disciplined, and consistent. This is the ultimate recipe that bring clients their optimal results.

WHY DO YOU FOCUS ON FUNCTIONAL FITNESS?

This is one of my favorite forms of training because it's relevant to every movement we make. Think about tasks like sitting in a chair or picking up the pen you dropped on the ground. The cool part is that there is an exercise for those everyday movements we don't think about! Regardless if a client comes to me for weight loss or powerlifting, I always incorporate functional exercises into every plan.

WHAT MOVEMENT PATTERNS WILL WE FOCUS ON?

The core movement patterns we will focus on are:

  • Squat

  • Hinge

  • Lunge

  • Push

  • Pull

  • Carry

Each workout is crafted to hit each movement throughout the training week.

WHAT TRAINING OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?

I offer both virtual and in-person options for clients. For virtual coaching, you will have the option of completing workouts through video with me or on your own depending on which package you choose. For in-person coaching, you will train with me out of my private studio. I have created a beautiful space in my garage.

SHOULD I DO VIRTUAL OR IN-PERSON COACHING?

This truly depends on what you need to stay committed. If you are independent and a self-starter, virtual coaching with a custom plan and weekly check-ins is a great option. However, if you need extra accountability, in-person or virtual workouts together is usually best.

HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM A REGULAR GYM TRAINER?

I really care about each person that I work with. I get to know who you are and what your why is. In turn, this helps me truly customize and create a program that works for you. Most trainers try and sell you a one size fits all approach. I look at everything from your job, lifestyle, and also how your body moves when creating a solution. I have worked with clients of various backgrounds including military, first responders, mental health counselors, and even a client who does roller derby. My only requirement when working together is that you are committed and truly ready to embrace change.

WHAT ARE THE NEXT STEPS TO GET STARTED?

This is my favorite question! In order to get started, please click on the “Apply for Private Coaching” button. You will then be directed to the application that will take 10 minutes to complete. I will be in touch with you within 24 hours to set up an appointment to meet in-person or through video. We will get to know each other and I will learn what your goals are. 
If we are a good fit, we will move forward with the process and set up a No Sweat Intro. This is simply a mobility assessment to see how your body moves. The final part is creating your plan and getting you started on a path to embracing fitness as a lifestyle!
